The SAARC Cultural Centre is delighted to announce the SAARC Exhibition of Paintings 2018 will take place from Tuesday the 10th of July to Friday the 13th of July at the Library premises of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The Inauguration Ceremony will take place on Tuesday 10th July 2018 at the Library of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 11.00am to 12.00 noon.
The SAARC Exhibition of Paintings 2018 is organised by the SAARC Cultural Centre in collaboration with the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the Arts Council of Sri Lanka and will showcase new works of arts from the recently concluded SAARC Artists Camp and Exhibition of Paintings, which took place in Nepal in 2017. In addition, there will also be presentations and mini workshops related to culture and art throughout the Exhibition, that will enhance the experience of the viewing public. There will be paintings displayed from all the SAARC Member States of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and we would be delighted if you would join us to witness the artistic endeavors of a multitude of artists from the South Asian Region.
