Call for Entries for Children from the SAARC Region

Let the wisdom of folktales of South Asia spark creative magic in you! Illustrate a scene or character of a folktale and bring it to life.
SAARC Cultural Centre, Colombo is inviting children of age 6-15 from the SAARC Member States to submit their artwork based on a scene from their favorite folktale.
How to Submit
• Create your artwork on A-4/ A-3 size paper using any medium, technique and style
• Submit a clear photo of the artwork in JPEG or PNG via Google form – https://forms.gle/C7TEyGa9u2T1nWie6
• Theme: My Favorite Folktale/My Favorite Folk Character/Scene of the Folktale
• Deadline: 10 August 2025
• The work should be original, creative, and unassisted
A digital certificate for all participants.
Selected artwork will be featured in a catalogue published by the SAARC Cultural Centre.
