Ms. Neha Singh, Second Secretary (Press, Information & Culture) of the High Commission of India, Colombo paid a courtesy visit to the SAARC Cultural Centre on the 07th August 2019.
Ms. Renuka Ekanayake, Director, SCC detailed about the upcoming programmes of the Centre and extended her appreciation to the Honoured Member State of India for winning six awards at the recently concluded Ninth SAARC Film Festival which held from 2nd – 7th July 2019 in Colombo. Trophies and the certificates of the recipients were officially handed over to the High Commission of India, Colombo the following day.
Moreover Ms. Renuka Ekanayake assured of fullest cooperation to develop and promote cultural activities in the region through innovative concepts in keeping with the values of the SAARC region.
