Director of the SAARC Cultural Centre calls on Indian High Commission to promote cultural activities

Director of the SAARC Cultural Centre, Renuka Ekanayake paid a courtesy call on Acting High Commissioner of India in Sri Lanka, Dr. Shilpak N. Ambule on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 discussed a number of matters related the SAARC Cultural Centre and its future activities.

Director, SAARC Cultural Centre indicated the importance of India’s support in strengthening the SAARC mechanism for the promotion of regional unity through cultural integration. The current status of the SAARC Cultural Centre’s activities was briefed to the Acting High Commissioner and she assured that the Centre would always work for the development, promotion and upliftment of culture within the Region.
