Dr. Kaushalya Kumarasinghe, Director of the SAARC Cultural Centre (SCC), paid a courtesy call on Prof. Ankuran Dutta, Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India. Mementos were exchanged, and the latest copy of SCC’s annual magazine, SAARC Art, was presented to Prof. Dutta. During the meeting, several collaborative initiatives between the two centres were discussed at length. Prof. Dutta stressed the importance of cultural cooperation for peace and harmony in the SAARC Region and assured of his continued cooperation with the various activities of SCC.
