The Director of the SAARC Cultural Centre Ms. Renuka Ekanayake paid a courtesy call on H.E. Faheem-Ul-Aziz High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka at the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo on 14th June 2024. This visit was mainly to introduce the activities of the SAARC Cultural Centre and the up coming events specially the Seminar on Intangible Cultural Heritage for Food Storage in the SAARC Region proposed to be held in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The discussions also included nominations of participants for the SAARC Festival of Rice Culinary Arts and Spice Exhibition, SAARC Film Festival, SAARC Research Grants, etc. H.E. Faheem-Ul-Aziz pledged his support to the SAARC Cultural Centre and its activities. The Director of the SAARC Cultural Centre presented H.E. Faheem-Ul-Aziz with publications of the SAARC Cultural Centre.
