SAARC Film Day 2024 – “Chalay Thay Saath” from Pakistan
Pakistani film “ ”, directed by Mr. Umer Adil, is a film about relationships, not just between people but between countries as well. The protagonist visits the region with a tour guide exploring the beauty of the people and the nature. Upon his visit, he meets with Resham-the actress and he falls in love with her. From there on, they both try to understand each other’s story, their culture and languages realizing the differences and despite that, their similarities are immense. The film portrays different cultures, traditions and life-styles.
