Bulbul is a Nepalese film written and directed by Binod Poudel was released in 2019. It tells the story of a woman who drives a tempo in Kathmandu, dealing with the challenges of supporting her family, including her daughter and father-in-law, while her husband works abroad for many years. This film showcases the resilience and strength of the main character, played by Swastima Khadka, with Mukun Bhusal in a lead role as well.
The Nepali film screening will be organized by the SAARC Cultural Centre at the Jaffna Cultural Centre, Jaffna, Sri Lanka to coincide with the National Day of Nepal.
