SAARC Special Lecture and Meet the Author

SAARC Cultural Centre in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Culture Centre, High Commission of India organized the SAARC Special Lecture Series and Meet the Author event at SVCC, Auditorium. Prof Anand Singh, Department of Historical Studies and Archaeology, Central University of South Bihar, India launched his book “ Nalanda-A Glorious Past” and outlined the synopsis of the book and Venerable Prof. Miriswaththe Wimalagnana, Department of Buddhist Culture, Post Graduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies, University of Kelaniya acted as the discussant. The event was attended by the H.E. Andalib Elias, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka, Ahmed Ziyad, Third Secretary, Maldives High Commission to Sri Lanka, Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi, Counsellor, Iranian Cultural Centre, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ruvini De Silva, Director, SAARC, SA & SAARC Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka and other distinguished guests.
