The third session of the SAARC Talk Series 2025 (Virtual Mode) was held on 13th June (Friday) 2025, 3:00 pm (Sri Lanka Standard Time) at the SAARC Cultural Centre (SCC), Sri Lanka. The speaker was Prof. Sudeshna Guha, professor in the Department of History and Archaeology at Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence, India (Delhi NCR). Her lecture titled ‘ : ’ delved into the historical development of heritage and museum archaeology, highlighting how both practice and scholarly frameworks influence their interpretation and presentation. It examined the ways in which museums and heritage institutions curate objects and construct narratives, while also highlighting the need to rethink conventional methods of classification, interpretation, and representation.
