Two-Day Film Screening Student engagement in Seruwila, Sri Lanka

The SAARC Cultural Centre concluded the two days Film Day programme at Seruwawila Mangala Raja Maha Vihara screening three movies: Ankhi O Tar Bandhura (Ankhi and Her Friends), I am Kalam, and Vishama Bhaga (The Other Half), from Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka respectively on 25th and 26th June 2025. A total of 1150 Sinhala, Tamil, and Muslim students with escort teachers and Principals from the nineteen schools were participated in the program followed by interactive discussions after screening the movies. The following schools contributed their commitment to enriching the students’ learning experience participating in this programme;
