Vacancy Announcement -Finance Officer (GSS I)

The SAARC Cultural Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is the Regional Centre for Art and Culture established by the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) with the mandate to promote regional unity through cultural integration, inter-cultural dialogue, contribute towards preservation, conservation and protection of South Asia’s cultural heritage within the framework of the SAARC Agenda for Culture.

The following vacancy at the SAARC Cultural Centre, Colombo, is opened for citizens of Sri Lanka.

Duty Station: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Tenure of the Post: This job is a contractual position with duration of three years at a time, with possibility of extension until the individual reaches 60 years of age, contingent upon satisfactory performance and conduct. (Note: The position is subject to a one-year probationary period)

Age: Below 45 Years

Qualifications
– Degree in the field of Finance and Accounting, Business Administration.
– Professional qualifications of Chartered (Intermediate level or above) /CIMA/CMA (fully completed) will be an additional qualification.
And
– At least 10 years experience in the field of Finance and Accounting.
– Experience in working for a Mission/ International organization would be an advantage.

Salary Scale
USD 265-6*5-291(EB) 9*5-340(EB) plus other allowances monthly as per the harmonized rules of the SAARC Regional Centres, Payable in Sri Lankan Rupees. (House rent, medical allowance, Festival allowance, Leave encashment, Conveyance allowance, etc.)
